Jan will talk about his composing work for KCD2. He will describe dramaturgical decisions for a soundtrack in a vast open-world RPG game; which musical elements he used in order to deliver the information to the player; and how the storytelling in cutscenes is supported by the use of leitmotifs in music. Adam will follow up on technological aspects of the KCD2 music: How the game physically controls the selection and playback and how the in-game music tracks are structured and produced to enable the interactivity of music.
